Why Should You Attend Rose Stein International?

Rose Stein International Elementary is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School that offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP). IB world schools share a common philosophy- a commitment to deliver high-quality, challenging programs of international education.

As an elementary school in the Alameda Articulation Area, Rose Stein offers a Primary Years Programme to all students from preschool through sixth grade. Students have the opportunity to continue their IB education at Alameda Jr and Sr. High School to experience the full pre-K-12th grade continuum.

At Rose Stein, we work collaboratively to provide students with a well-rounded and enriching academic experience. The 10 IB learner profile attributes drive the language in our building: caring, reflective, communicator, open-minded, knowledgeable, balanced, thinker, inquirer, risk taker and principled.

These traits lay the framework for students to become caring, inquiring, lifelong learners who respect themselves and others and actively participate in the world.

Students explore concepts that can be integrated within and throughout all academic content areas. Even in subjects like art, music and PE, students delve into social studies, mathematics, science and literacy concepts.
