Mental Health Supports

At Rose Stein International Elementary, we prioritize the mental health of our students and staff. We have a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to maintaining a culture of belonging and safety both in and out of the classroom.

We focus on fostering social and emotional skills at school so students can best access their education and have successful relationships.

There are systems in place that support all students regularly as well as personalized support for individual students. Second Step is a research-based social-emotional learning curriculum that empowers students of all ages to build skills for success. Our team of mental health staff members teach age-appropriate, engaging and relevant lessons to all students preK-fifth grade.
